Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Accounts Officer / Accounts Coordinator to take ownership of the finance function within a dynamic and professional business. This role offers autonomy, stability, and the chance to become the trusted go-to person for all things accounts.

You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative office environment where relationships matter, and your contribution will be valued. With strong systems, thorough documentation, and a comprehensive handover in place, you'll have everything you need to succeed from day one.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function and supporting broader accounting activities. With a strong emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail, this is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously while still being part of a close-knit team.

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable - invoice processing, approvals, and payments
  • Supplier management and payment runs
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Expense management and reporting
  • Assisting with Accounts Receivable administration where required
  • Supporting payroll processing (Xero)
  • Liaising with external accountants for month-end, BAS, and compliance
The Successful ApplicantQualifications
  • Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week (full-time preferred)
  • Supportive culture with strong processes and systems in place
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a real impact
