Hotel Manager | Grand Central Hotel Brisbane | Full-Time

Set beneath heritage-listed Central Station, the Grand Central Hotel is one of Brisbane's busiest pubs, with multiple bars and serious food and beverage volume. A true CBD landmark with a constant flow of guests.

We're hiring a driven Hotel Manager to lead service at scale, mentor a strong team, and deliver standout results in a venue with real momentum.

In this role, you will

  • Lead from the front so the team sees what exceptional service looks like every day
  • Upskill and develop product knowledge and service standards across the bar team
  • Ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, entertaining experience
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and Liquor Licensing laws
  • Review operations and implement practical solutions that lift efficiency
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, in person and in writing
  • Provide accurate function and event information well in advance
  • Be hands-on and support other roles across the venue when needed
  • Work with the broader Management team to position the venue as a premier functions and events destination

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience running a busy restaurant or F&B department in a high-volume environment
  • Strong industry knowledge, especially current cocktail and beverage trends
  • Confident leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate, coach and develop a team
  • Ability to build proactive relationships with the local community
  • Commercial focus with a track record of driving growth, activation and brand outcomes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Certifications: RSA, RSG. RMLV Highly Regarded

Details

We offer a competitive salary, negotiable based on experience, with opportunities for career development and progression. This is a Full-Time position. We are seeking candidates that have strong time management and professionalism, understanding the importance of having a presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends.
