Your role

Your impact will be far‑reaching. Reporting directly to the Executive Manager – Energy Transition & Sustainability and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

• Set the vision for transmission expansion and ensure alignment with State and Federal energy and emissions goals.
• Lead the orchestration of complex, large‑scale transmission projects that will power WA for decades.
• Secure funding and influence policy, engaging with government, regulators, and industry to drive outcomes.
• Oversee portfolio optimisation and assurance, ensuring programs are on time, on budget, and compliant.
• Build and inspire high‑performing teams, driving a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

What you'll bring

What you'll bring:

• Proven leadership in delivering large‑scale transmission or generation infrastructure projects.
• Strategic capability to navigate complexity, shape policy, and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of decarbonisation drivers, electricity markets, and infrastructure delivery.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills – from boardrooms to project teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields (postgraduate highly regarded).
• Ability to lead programs of work that run simultaneously.
