Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to a full-time position. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures, integrating data from various sources, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure efficient and accurate data processing.

Base pay range

A$80,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr

Key responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architectures, including databases and processing systems
  • Integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and reliability
  • Optimize data pipelines for scalability and performance
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data transformation solutions
  • Apply data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data systems design and maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide effective data solutions
Key skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Java
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration
  • Working knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
