Overview

Product Manager - Transaction & Savings Products is a 12-month contract based in Sydney (hybrid). You will join the Everyday Banking team to shape propositions across key customer segments. You will lead segment-specific insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations to drive customer experience, product performance, and business growth. You will work cross-functionally with data, marketing, digital, distribution, and other product teams to deliver outcomes.

Location and Term

Location - Sydney, Hybrid; minimum 5 days within the fortnight (may be requested more than this)

Term - 12 months

Responsibilities
  • Drive development of the customer segmentation strategy, ensuring it supports the bank's growth objectives and aligns with customer needs.
  • Understand the voice of the customer and monitor the impact of macro, micro and product landscapes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve propositions, supported by a deep understanding of products and customers.
  • Lead and execute changes in partnership with delivery teams and a wide range of stakeholders to continuously improve product offerings and processes.
  • Lead regular reporting and insight generation across key customer segments, turning data into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to improve segment definitions and measurement frameworks.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep segment strategies relevant and differentiated.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in product, strategy, or customer insights.
  • Strong understanding of customer frameworks, journeys, and value propositions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategy development skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence using data to drive actionable insights.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and confidence in making data-driven decisions.
  • Advanced ability to drive outcomes and execute on a roadmap of initiatives.
  • Risk mindset; proactively identify and discuss current and future risks.
