About The Role The Finance and Governance division is an enabling function of AEMO and provides strategic, advisory and transactional finance and governance services to the AEMO business. Reporting to the Lead, F&G Change, Communications & Engagement, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting F&G strategic initiatives, supported through the implementation of Finance & Governance's change, communications and engagement (CCE) strategy. This role ensures strategic initiatives, business activities and projects are deployed in a manner that maximises employee adoption, provides timely and transparent communication, supports customer and stakeholder experience, minimises risks/impacts and optimises overall value realisation. Flexibility to be based in Brisbane or Melbourne.
Role Responsibilities- Support the delivery of the approved CCE strategy for F&G including continuous improvement and complex BAU change management initiatives to align to best practice and enhance F&G's internal reputation.
- Provide CCE support to Finance & Governance teams in support of relative transformation and project-based delivery uplift. Change, Comms and Engagement Plan and Reporting.
- Identify and address training needs while proactively managing change issues and risks.
- Develop compelling data-led and story-led copy that engages and resonates across various channels – aligned to F&G goals – that enhances F&G's reputation across AEMO Group.
- Work with the Enterprise Change Practice to ensure consistency of change activities and meet minimum artefact standards in terms of quality and level of detail including (but not limited to) Detailed Change Impact Assessments, Change Strategy & Plan, Communication and Engagement Plan, Learning and Training Needs Analysis and Plans, People Readiness, and Change Handover.
- Proactively identify and plan for anticipated resistance and other change and people risks through effective control and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare required inputs for relevant status reporting, and Enterprise Change Governance and Quality Assurance activities.
- Deliver change management activities to build organisational capability and maturity.
- Experience in a similar role with a demonstrated track record of implementing successful BAU Change and Communications plans.
- Familiarity with project and/or change methodologies, assessment techniques and governance principles.
- Some generalist experience across the design and delivery of Communication, Engagement and Learning / Training.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders and executives.
- Experience in the design and delivery of communications and training materials across multiple channels in complex and time-sensitive environments.
- A natural self-starter with an eye for engaging storytelling opportunities.
