Melbourne | Tier 1 Multidisciplinary Consultancy | Permanent Role

I'm recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Tier 1 engineering consultancy with a strong reputation in complex, large-scale projects across infrastructure and buildings.

They're currently looking to bring on an experienced Senior Construction Services Engineer to join their Melbourne team. This role sits within a growing Construction Services group and will focus on temporary works design, supporting a broad client base including builders, contractors, and delivery partners.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering and certifying temporary works solutions — including formwork, falsework, shoring, scaffolding, and propping systems.
  • Acting as a key contact for clients and site teams — providing advice, design solutions, and responsive support.
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers within the team.
  • Reviewing internal and external designs with a critical eye and ensuring best practice delivery.
  • Supporting project planning, delegation, and workload management within the team.
  • Assisting with technical proposals, tenders, and client presentations.
What They're Looking For
  • Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 6+ years' experience in structural or temporary works design, ideally with contractor-facing exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and the interaction between buildability and design.
  • Familiarity with proprietary systems used in temporary works installations.
  • Confident in client-facing roles and able to represent the business with credibility.
  • CPEng (or working towards), and NER/RPEV registration preferred.
