Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Cloud Applications) to join our practice to strengthen our delivery capabilities. This role is Melbourne based and scheduled to commence ASAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong Data Mapping and Scrum background - experience working in Banking and Finance is highly advantageous.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of financial systems and processes – previous Banking experience is highly desirable.
• Expertise in and understanding of User Story creation (INVEST)
• Data mapping and data modelling
• Complex application interfaces and problem investigation
• Change & Incident management processes
• Ability to understand technical concepts, including Interface technologies like File, APIs, data models, and system configurations
• Proven experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong presentation and discussion facilitation skills
• Ability to analyse complex business problems and document in simple easy to understand language
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Able to read and follow Java/PostgreSQL
• API definitions (Swagger / OpenAPI)

Gateway Specifications

• ISO 8583/AS2805 (Financial Messaging) or ISO20022 (Payments Initiation)
• Credit Schemes Clearing and Settlement (advantageous)
