Position Details
  • A dynamic Technical Business Analyst position is available, a 12-month fixed-term role.
  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus (Hybrid role), with Flexible Working Arrangements.
  • An exciting opportunity for a motivated Analyst interested in leveraging technical knowledge to develop solutions that address business problems.
Overview

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to define scope and requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring delivered solutions meet business needs. The Business Analyst will support project lifecycle activities, become an expert in their domain, and contribute to the BA Practice.

About The Portfolio

The Operations Portfolio enables enterprise-wide delivery for enhanced student and staff experiences across various business units, including ITS, Enterprise Projects, and others. It supports the university's global operations and strategy.

The Role

The Business Analyst will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, manage stakeholder interests, and assist in analyzing and prioritizing AI requests. They will also define standards for AV refresh to improve user experience across the university.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and business process development.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and project lifecycle involvement.
  • Experience with AI in understanding business requirements and deployment.
  • Understanding of infrastructure standards, especially AV designs.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively.
