Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our global consultancy on a 12-month contract, with potential extensions.

This is a hybrid working opportunity available for candidates based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit and document business requirements, ensuring accurate translation to technical specifications.
  • Create functional specifications, use cases, and user stories for clear development guidance.
  • Develop process maps, data flow diagrams, and project documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis of business processes and technology for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven technical writing skills with the ability to create concise documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in requirements analysis and elicitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and basic understanding of .Net code.
  • Experience with SQL or data visualisation tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to software development processes and related technical documentation practices.
  • Robust analytical skills with a solid foundation in data analysis and reporting methodologies.
  • Proficiency in utilising various business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Baseline security clearance or currently in the process of obtaining one.
