About the Role

This role is for a creative storyteller who lives and breathes content — someone who can take an idea and bring it to life across platforms. You'll be the driving force behind MAYE's content output, from concept to creation, helping shape how the brand connects with its audience.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Content Creation (Core Focus): Ideate, coordinate, and execute original content that aligns with MAYE's brand voice and aesthetic — from campaign assets to day-to-day storytelling. This includes working with external creators as well as creating in-house content, especially BTS and styling videos.

·Video Editing: A must-have skill. You'll be editing short-form video (Reels, TikTok, BTS) that feels premium, polished, and social-first.

·Social Media Management: Support the planning, scheduling, and posting of content on Instagram and Facebook, helping ensure a cohesive and elevated presence.

·Community Management: Nurture and grow our Facebook Group community — engage meaningfully, spark conversations, and help cultivate a space that reflects the MAYE brand and values.

·Influencer & Partnership Coordination: Identify and manage influencer relationships to support content goals and expand brand reach.

·Photoshoot Coordination: Assist the Creative Director in planning and running shoots — managing logistics and capturing live content on the day.

·EDM & Design Support: Contribute to email campaigns and support with simple design assets as needed (Canva or Adobe).

·Customer-Focused Storytelling: Always creating with the MAYE customer in mind — her world, lifestyle, and point of view.

Skills & Attributes You'll Need

• Strong video editing skills — confident editing Reels, TikToks, and BTS content that feels premium, engaging, and platform-relevant.
• Content-first mindset — someone who loves coming up with ideas and bringing them to life visually, either solo or with collaborators.
• Up-to-date on trends — especially around Reels, TikTok, and creator-led content. You know what's working, and how to make it feel like MAYE.
• Strong eye for design — with an understanding of premium branding, elevated styling, and cohesive visual storytelling.
• Social media native — passionate about community-building, storytelling, and showing up consistently in an authentic way.
• Organised and proactive — able to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay ahead of the calendar.
• Collaborative energy — comfortable directing others on content shoots, working with creators, and jumping in where needed.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment — someone who moves with urgency but still upholds quality.
