The Opportunity: We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to support the Council Stores team in the provision of daily store operations and delivery functions for Bega Valley Shire Council. As Stores Trainee, you will assist with data entry for all inventory activities as well as perform stocktakes and audits. You will act as first line customer interface for all Stores enquiries and requests.

• Support daily store operations and delivery functions.

• From Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
• Has completed Higher School Certificate and holds a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence or Provisional Drivers Licence.
• Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and able to work to a schedule.

• Fixed term full-time position working 35 hours per week for 12 months.
• Remuneration from $46,575.33 gross per annum (approx. $803.30 per week base salary) plus superannuation (11.5%).
• Rostered day off scheme (nine day fortnight); annual award salary increases and performance reviews.
