About the role

Are you a meticulous planner, a problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We need a Works Ready Coordinator to ensure our substations projects are set up for seamless execution

You will be based at our state-of-the-art Glen Waverley depot where you will be working with a highly supportive and collaborative team. This role is ideally suited to someone who has an electrical background and has a good understanding of VESI requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan & Prepare: Scope works, secure materials, book services, and ensure everything is in place before crews hit the ground
  • Optimise Efficiency: Reduce travel time, maximise resources, and streamline work packages for peak productivity
  • Risk & Quality Control: Visit sites, identify potential issues, and develop solutions before work even begins
  • Data & Reporting: Keep projects on track with accurate data management and reporting
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with field crews, contractors, and stakeholders to make sure everything runs like clockwork
About You

We are looking for someone who wants to work with an industry leader in power services, where your skills make an impact. Ideally you will have an electrical / utilities background, perhaps even an ex-Electrician who wants to get off the tools and into the planning side of things You will also possess the following:

  • Background in power, project management or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in construction, maintenance planning, or scheduling within electrical networks
  • Solid computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office etc)
  • Good understanding of VESI requirements is ideal
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A passion for safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Driver's licence is essential
