Casual Aquatic Roles: Coaching/Teaching/Lifeguarding - Expressions of Interest at Presbyterian Ladies' College - Melbourne. PLC invites expressions of interest from candidates with qualifications and experience in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety. We are also interested to hear from candidates who are Lifeguard trained. By submitting an application, you will be placed into our Talent Pool for current or prospective employment opportunities with PLC. This is an expression of interest only, and we will contact candidates whose skills and experience align with our requirements. Opportunities are casual with morning and afternoon/evening shifts, spread across Monday to Saturday.

About PLCPLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person, including an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs.
The RoleExpressions of interest from candidates with qualifications and experience in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety. We are also interested to hear from candidates who are Lifeguard trained.
Responsibilities / Requirements- Teach Learn to Swim and water safety skills to children across age groups.
- Prioritize safety and adherence to water safety guidelines.
- Be part of the Aquatics team in a welcoming, professional environment.
- Hold and maintain the following certificates: current AUSTSWIM/SAT (Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety), First Aid/Perform CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management.
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) for Employees.
- Commit to PLC's Child Safe Standards and inclusive workplace culture.
- Relevant qualifications, experience and a passion for teaching swimming and water safety to children.
- Ability to understand and support children at different ages and stages.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
- Casual employment
- Hours include morning and afternoon/evening shifts, Monday to Saturday
