Role Overview

As a Media Coordinator, you will work across multiple media disciplines - from strategy to planning to digital and investment. You will be responsible for executing seamless channel setups and campaign operations. This role requires a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality work. You'll work closely with your team to ensure every campaign is positioned for success, setting the foundation for effective performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy and planning

  • Research and development: Support Media team with research

Media Buying

  • Media Partner Evaluations: Support Media team with media partner evaluations, ensuring these match what has been briefed and proposed to the client within the Communications Planning phase.
  • Partner Booking: Support Media team with signing media partner contracts for approved final booking.
  • Creative Specs and Deadlines: Lead the compilation of creative specs and deadlines, and provide to creative team/agency.

Trafficking

  • Acceptance of Assets: Lead the acceptance of all assets from creative agency or client. Ensuring these comply with platform specifications.
  • Naming Conventions: Lead the building of all naming conventions.
  • Line-item setup: Lead the setup of all media line items as part of the campaign build.

Reporting and Optimisation

  • Budget Pacing: Responsible to update budget pacing tracker to ensure activity is not spending the budget too slowly or quickly.
  • Bid Optimisation: Lead bids for ad placements in real-time to achieve campaign goals.
  • Audience creation: Proactively setting up new audiences for campaigns (including remarketing & lookalikes)
  • Weekly Reports: Provide client with weekly report capturing all observation and required optimisations.

Finance

  • Lead all elements of the finance process, including:
  • Collation of written booking confirmations.
  • Finance schedule creation and tracking.
  • Finance loadings.
  • Proforma checking.
  • Platform invoice & credit card tracking.
  • Resolving any account queries arising from invoicing.
  • Updating PO trackers.

Key Experience & Attributes

  • Minimum level degree in Marketing, Communications or Media.
  • Communication is essential, both written and oral.
  • Attention to detail. A pair of hands clients can trust.
  • Active Listening. Being able to hear what the client is really saying and interpret the subtext not just the text.
  • Solid judgement. Arriving at the right decision when the circumstances are less than clear.
  • Grace in the face of change or under pressure. Displays a "can do" attitude.
  • Interest and enthusiasm. Provide energy for the team and consistently seek to optimise.
  • Expectation management. Both internal and external.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot table knowledge is a bonus.)
  • Data analysis. Ability to identify trends and insights.
