We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Senior Strategy Director with our awesome team in Carat Sydney. Focusing on our largest national account, plus a diverse and fascinating portfolio across Carat NSW, this role is a career-changing opportunity.

The role:

As the Senior Strategy Director, you are expected to have a high level of competency in communications strategy development, to be well versed in media connections planning, and to have a strong grasp of the media planning and buying landscape.

Core responsibilities:

• Drive the core functions of the strategic discipline for media responses: objective & challenge identification, target audience profiling & recommendation development, consumer journey mapping
• Develops, manages and grows a team of media strategists
• Play an active role in identifying the local 'big bet briefs' that present opportunities to deploy our strategic process or the potential for award worthy work
• Guides award worthy work through creative media solutions

A bit about you:

• Have a strong understanding of the capabilities of both media industry and proprietary tools and systems, able to guide junior team members on the outcomes they can support
• Strong working experience with Roy Morgan, AQX, Neilson and other audience tools. Oversight into MMM and proven ability to understand value
• Strong demonstrated understanding of marketing science
• To integrate and collaborate across an end to end response to brief to ensure the strategic direction is reflected in tangible campaign outcomes
• Able to foster positive and productive ways of working with agency peers across assigned clients
• To identify and proactively manage the appropriate engagement from senior team members across the client portfolio, predominantly this will be for new stakeholder introductions, and tier 1 briefings and response
