This is a unique opportunity to be the first Hybrid Strategic Account Executive / Account Manager in the APAC region for Mural. You will join the existing APAC team, focusing on expanding and retaining our largest clients, with opportunities to target new logos and help grow Mural and LUMA's presence in APAC.

Your Mission

Our belief is simple: making customers better, makes better customers. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will manage MURAL's enterprise clients in the region using a human-centered approach. You will build strong relationships with clients, drive renewals and upsells, and work closely with your local team including Customer Success Managers, Renewals Managers, Sales Consultants, and Sales Engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary contact for the most strategic MURAL and LUMA customers in APAC and develop strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Understand client goals and anticipate needs to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Lead planning sessions to maximize client use of MURAL for transformation and success milestones.
  • Manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective use of MURAL.
  • Handle renewals, expansions, and upsells.
  • Build trusted relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Develop best practices to help the team scale.
  • Gather client feedback and advocate internally for customer needs.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years in Account Management or new logo acquisition within SaaS.
  • A hunter mindset focused on growth and new client acquisition.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Strong project management skills and experience launching initiatives.
  • Experience managing high-value renewals and upsells.
  • Excellent stakeholder, communication, and relationship skills.
  • Experience working with large, matrixed organizations to drive adoption.
  • Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
  • Comfort with using AI tools for workflows and decision-making.
  • Willingness to work remotely.
  • Proficiency in Japanese is a plus, but not required.
