SCM COE - EAM Solution Architect (Mining) at SAP. The Digital Supply Chain Practice of SAP Australia & New Zealand is expanding by establishing a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Centre of Excellence (CoE). The CoE guides major customers through their journey to SAP Business Suite with strategy, delivery, and lasting impact. The successful candidate will work on this high-profile initiative and broader Customer Success and Delivery activities within the DSC Practice. We are looking for a practicing Supply Chain Management – Enterprise Asset Management Architect with in-depth end-to-end process knowledge within mining and/or oil & gas.

• Understand the SAP Business Suite across S/4HANA, SSAM, APM, FSM, and how they integrate in the mining/oil & gas industry context.
• Help customers transition from older SCM environments to advanced Business Suite solutions including AI, mobility, automated scheduling, and networks.
• Collaborate with account teams during software evaluation to develop SAP-centric solution scenarios, architecture, implementation plans, and outcomes for customer success.
• Build actionable roadmaps, support business case creation, PoC, provide architectural guidance, and deliver implementation support where needed.
• Serve as a conduit between customers and product management/engineering to prioritize roadmaps and address customer needs.
• Lead industry-specific round tables and events for SCM and Asset Management.
• Engage in engagements to advise, design, and deploy solutions to enhance client functionality and performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Partner with clients and third parties to analyze business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables with architecture in mind.
• Work independently and as part of a high-performance global team, providing thought leadership on end-to-end solution design and deployment options.

• 15+ years of professional experience in the mining and/or oil & gas industry as a principal consultant/architect.
• Expert knowledge in SAP EAM and cloud solutions such as SSAM, APM, FSM, BNAC, ideally across 10+ full implementation life cycles.
• Proven project delivery experience implementing the above solutions in mining and/or oil & gas, with processes such as Planning, Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, Remote field logistics and maintenance.
• Understanding and hands-on integration experience across RSH/MSO, PS, MM, FI/CO.
• Ability to conduct S/4HANA EAM, SSAM, APM and FSM-centric workshops with all stakeholders, providing end-to-end Business Process Solution Design.
• Knowledge of asset-intensive industries' drivers, challenges, and outcomes related to asset management and plant maintenance.
• Experience leading customer project members as an SAP project manager (PMI, Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, results-oriented problem-solving skills; excellent conflict management and de-escalation.
• Clear ability to present complex information to customers in a well-documented, trustworthy manner.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues; team player; capable of working in culturally diverse environments.
• Strong networking and customer relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business focus.
• Passionate about technology, innovation, and how digital platforms solve business challenges.
• Experience with ML, IoT, SAP Joule and other AI tools; SAP Fieldglass is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of programming is a plus; basic knowledge of BI, SAC, Datasphere is a plus.
• Practical experience with process modeling tools such as Signavio, LeanIX, WalkMe is a plus.
