Overview

SCM COE - EAM/FSM Senior Consultant at SAP. The Digital Supply Chain Practice of SAP Australia & New Zealand is expanding by establishing a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Centre of Excellence (CoE). The CoE guides major customers through their journey to SAP Business Suite with proven strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact. The successful candidate will work on high-profile, strategic initiatives and the broader Customer Success and Delivery area within the DSC Practice.

The role requires practical SAP Field Service Management (FSM) skills, in-depth end-to-end knowledge across SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and asset-intensive industry experience (e.g., mining, oil & gas, energy, utilities).

Responsibilities

• Understand SAP FSM and the SAP Business Suite related to SAP EAM and how they integrate within asset-intensive industries.
• Assist customers in transitioning from traditional SCM to advanced Business Suite capabilities, including AI, mobility, automated scheduling, and networks.
• Collaborate with account teams to develop SAP-centric solution scenarios, define architecture, and prepare implementation plans and outcomes that drive customer success.
• Build actionable roadmaps, support business case development, PoCs, and provide architecture advice; deliver implementation support where needed.
• Act as a conduit between customers and product management/engineering to prioritise roadmaps and address customer needs.
• Lead industry-specific round tables and events for SCM, particularly Asset Management, and engage with third parties as required.
• Engage in engagements to advise, design, and deploy SAP solutions to enhance client functionality and performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Partner with clients and third parties to analyse and define business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables with architecture in mind.
• Work independently and as part of a high-performance, diverse team; provide thought leadership on end-to-end solution design, implementation challenges, or deployment options.

Qualifications, Skills And Competencies

• 7+ years of professional experience as a senior SAP FSM consultant.
• Expert knowledge in SAP FSM with ideally 4+ full implementation lifecycles.
• Experience across SAP Intelligent Asset Management & Service portfolio, including SAP Asset Performance Management, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Spatial Asset Management.
• Deep understanding of FSM administration to configure, test, integrate, and deploy FSM master data and field service processes such as Scheduling, Dispatching, and Service execution.
• Technical experience with mobile applications in field service operations.
• Ability to conduct SAP FSM and S/4HANA EAM-centric workshops delivering end-to-end Business Process Solution Design.
• Good understanding and hands-on integration experience with PM, PS, MM, FI/CO.
• Understanding of business drivers and outcomes of asset management in asset-intensive industries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and result-oriented skills.
• Able to present complex information clearly to customers and document actions reliably.
• Team player with experience in culturally diverse environments; strong networking and customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business focus.
• Passionate about technology, innovation, and how digital platforms solve business challenges.
• Experience with ML, IoT, SAP Joule and other AI tools is a plus.
• Basic programming knowledge is a plus.
• Practical experience with process modelling tools such as Signavio, LeanIX, WalkMe is a plus.
