Purpose: The Digital Supply Chain Practice of SAP Australia & New Zealand is expanding by establishing a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Centre of Excellence (CoE) to guide major customers through their journey to SAP Business Suite — with proven strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact. The CoE is part of the DSC Practice and focuses on high-profile, strategic initiatives and the broader Customer Success and Delivery area.

The successful candidate will be working on this high-profile, strategic and transformational initiative and on the broader Customer Success and Delivery area within the DSC Practice. We are looking for a senior consultant with practical SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) skills and in-depth end-to-end process knowledge across SAP IBP and S/4HANA. A high-level understanding of related interfaces and technology platforms will be key to your role. From an SCM CoE perspective you will help the customer understand their path from the "old" SCM world into the more advanced Business Suite world, including AI, mobility, automated scheduling and networks. You will work with account teams in the software evaluation process to develop SAP-centric solution scenarios, design the needed architecture, prepare implementation plans and define outcomes that lead to customer success. You will build actionable roadmaps, support the creation of business cases, PoCs, provide architecture advice and deliver implementation support where needed. You will act as the conduit between customer and product management/engineering to prioritise product roadmaps with customer needs, run or support industry-specific round tables and events for SCM, particularly within supply chain planning and execution.

Under the DSC Practice mandate, you will advise on, design, implement and deploy our solutions to enhance the client\'s business functionality and performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will partner with the client and third parties to analyse and define business requirements, technology, processes, and objectives to scope project deliverables with the overall architecture in mind. You will work both individually and as part of a high-performance team locally and globally, bringing SAP\'s and the customer\'s success to heart. Your experience and knowledge will position you as a go-to person for thought leadership on end-to-end solution design, implementation challenges or deployment options.

Qualifications, Skills And Competencies

• A proven 7+ years of professional experience as a senior SAP IBP consultant.
• Expert knowledge in SAP IBP with ideally 5+ full implementation life cycles.
• Proven project delivery experience with SAP IBP across modules like DP, S&OP, and Supply Planning.
• Delivery experience in processes such as:
  • Demand Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Capacity Management
  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Tactical Planning
  • Plan execution in SAP PPDS
  • All relevant master data and organisation structure
• Knowledge around SAP Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) processes and IBP is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry trends in Supply Chain Management and best practices (where applicable).
• Associate SAP Certification in the Core area and/or professional certification is advantageous.
• APICS or Oliver Wight certification is a bonus.
• ABAP development and CPDIS skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, results-oriented, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to customers in a well-documented and trustworthy manner.
• Team player with ability to work in culturally diverse environments and strong networking capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business focus.
• Passion for technology, innovation and how digital platforms solve business challenges.
• Experience with ML, IoT, SAP Joule and other AI tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of programming is a plus.
• Practical experience with process modelling tools such as Signavio, LeanIX, WalkMe is a plus.
