Job Description

We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join the Commercial Operations team. You will be responsible for building a robust revenue forecast based on our business growth plans, measuring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting delivery teams in tracking business outcomes.

In this role, you will analyze performance data, support continuous improvement within customer segments, journeys, and products, and assist Senior Commercial Managers in aligning go-to-market activities with our strategic goals.

Location: Hybrid – 3 days in our Newcastle office (global headquarters)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the creation and monthly review of commercial forecasts based on go-to-market plans and key metrics.
  2. Maintain a deep understanding of commercial performance, collaborating with sales, marketing, product marketing, and customer service to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  3. Produce 'what-if' analyses to inform product, marketing, and commercial strategies.
  4. Track and manage risks and opportunities, enabling accurate forecasts and timely planning.
  5. Report on customer base movements, volumes, churn, and new additions, and review implications for go-to-market activities.
  6. Work closely with BI and reporting teams to ensure accurate and consistent data reporting.
  7. Continuously improve 'Commercial Ways of Working' for simplicity and consistency.
