Role: Room leader / Senior Educator - Diploma Qualified

Location: Capalaba, Brisbane

Centre: Goodstart Capalaba Almara St

Employment Type: Full time

Pay: Between $38.20 - $39.35 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Lead your own room as a Senior Educator, guiding a team of Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs.

  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.

  • Maintain a focus on safety and inclusivity to tailor learning experiences to the needs of all children.

  • Help provide the best start to a child's life and contribute to a positive, growth‑oriented culture.

  • Be paid at least 5% above award.

About Goodstart Capalaba Almara Street

  • 75 place centre

  • Working in the Nursery room

  • 2.5 hours of programming per week

Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

  • Current QLD Working with Children Check
