Overview

BOQ Group are looking for a Senior Manager, Technology Governance to join our Group Technology division. The Senior Manager role for Technology Governance is responsible for shaping and maintaining the Group Tech governance framework to ensure sound, risk-informed decision-making across the Division. The role will lead essential processes that evaluate the health and strategic importance of BOQ's technology assets, maintain controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of critical data within LeanIX, and drive operational excellence ensuring timely review of technology policies and standards. The Senior Manager also serves as the secretary for key Technology Governance forums, ensuring governance outcomes are well-documented, actionable, and aligned with broader risk and compliance frameworks. With two direct reports, this role requires a strong blend of leadership, governance expertise, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution to maintain robust technology governance and support strategic decision-making across the Group.

About You

As a seasoned leader in technology governance, you excel at designing and embedding governance frameworks that drive asset health, policy excellence, and data integrity. You lead annual asset health reviews, develop multi-year remediation roadmaps, and coordinate investment funding to ensure technology assets remain resilient and aligned with enterprise risk objectives. Your expertise covers maintaining service criticality frameworks and ensuring their alignment with broader governance processes.

You are adept at managing the entire lifecycle of technology policies and standards—streamlining, simplifying, and continuously improving them while championing quality and consistency. You bring a deep understanding of technology data governance, leveraging tools like LeanIX to uphold data integrity, conduct regular reviews, and enforce stewardship practices.

With proven experience in leading small teams, you are committed to coaching and developing talent to meet both team and organisational goals. Your strong stakeholder engagement skills enable you to influence decision-making, foster cross-functional collaboration, and translate complex risk and technical information into actionable insights for senior audiences. Above all, you bring a relentless focus on governance maturity and risk management, ready to elevate organisational resilience and technology outcomes.
