Join to apply for the Service & Warranty Site Manager role at Metricon.

Incredible opportunity to work within our high performing Service & Warranty team handling customers in and around the Shepparton and surrounding areas, servicing our customers, maintaining reasonable 90 day servicing ability and resultant customer satisfaction. Work with our experienced Service & Warranty Team being scheduled to attend our customers who have moved in to their Metricon home. Reporting to the Senior Home Care Warranty Site Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all customers receive prompt responses and follow up to all matters raised and ensure that commitments given are resolved in a timely manner
  • Complete inspections in customers' homes after the service period finishes, or when a new warranty case is registered, to qualify defects and disqualify non-defects and create scope of works for repairs with costings
  • Explain to customers how to use products and ensure that customers have all required manuals
  • Be on time to appointments and phone to cancel or change appointments if emergency delays occur
  • Ad hoc site inspections for active jobs
  • Ensure on-site works are undertaken to Metricon and current industry standards
  • Attend required department office day, and actively participate in team development
  • Progress efficiently through diagnostic and action stages for each allocated home
  • Keep up-to-date recording with all reports
Qualifications
  • A trade background in the construction industry would be an advantage, ideally in carpentry
  • Experience in a customer service or contact role is required
  • Experience in the building industry (preferable in the volume new home environment)
  • Cert IV in Building is highly regarded
  • Ability to manage self and others in a time-critical environment
  • Working knowledge of Australian Building Codes, standards and regulations
  • A great attitude
