Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Parramatta, Greater Sydney. We are looking for a Family Law Solicitor to handle a range of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, property settlements, and parenting matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, and parenting arrangements.
  • Prepare, draft, and file legal documents for proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Represent clients in court, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation and conciliation, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to develop and implement effective case strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring they are kept informed throughout the legal process while providing compassionate, client-centered service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

About You

The role requires excellent analytical and communication skills and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law
  • Admitted as a Solicitor in NSW with an unrestricted Practising Certificate
  • Proven experience in Family Law
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and research capabilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for clients and delivering exceptional service
