Are you ready to start your career supported, inspired and surrounded by a great team?

Are you a new graduate or early career Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist looking for a place where you can grow your skills, feel genuinely supported, and make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Or are you more experienced and looking for the next leadership opportunity?

Sensational Kids could be the perfect place to start.

We have the following positions available:

  • Kensington: Speech Pathologist (3+ years experience)
  • Cheltenham: Early career Speech Pathologist (New Grads welcome)

We're on the lookout for warm, motivated, and curious early-career therapists to join our paediatric teams in Kensington (VIC) and Cheltenham (VIC). You'll be surrounded by experienced clinicians, peer support, and a leadership team that genuinely cares about helping you thrive – both personally and professionally.

Whether you've just graduated or have a few years of experience under your belt, we're here to back you with the right supervision, training, and team connections so you can build your confidence, make an impact, and enjoy the work you do.

Why Sensational Kids?

What makes us different?

  • A strong values-driven culture that prioritises kindness, learning and collaboration
  • A diverse multidisciplinary team including OTs, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Music Therapists, Dietitians, and Counsellors
  • Team wellbeing is a daily focus
  • Leadership that listens – we take staff feedback seriously and continuously strive to improve how we support you

About the Roles

Location: Kensington, VIC and Cheltenham, VIC.

Type: Permanent Part-Time (4+ days) or Full-Time – 30 to 38 hrs/week, Mon–Fri

In these clinical roles, you'll:

  • Deliver meaningful, play-based therapy to children and families
  • Collaborate with and learn from mentors and experienced team members
  • Participate in regular supervision, peer mentoring and team case discussions
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of clinical presentations and support needs
  • Be part of a team that loves sharing knowledge, resources and laughs

We offer structured onboarding, plus regular 1:1 and group supervision to help you build skills and feel steady on your feet as a new clinician.

What we are looking for

  • Speech Pathology (SPA) Registration (or eligibility upon graduation)
  • Passion for supporting children and families
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions and grow with support
  • Strong values around teamwork, ethics, and kindness
  • Some experience (even through placements) with paediatrics or the NDIS is great – we'll help you build the rest
  • You must be eligible to work in Australia permanently

What Sensational Kids can offer you

  • 9.5 hours/week (FTE) of paid admin time
  • Structured onboarding + Foundational Skills Program for all new team members
  • Dedicated clinical supervisor + weekly support from experienced therapists
  • Generous PD budget + paid leave for external PD events
  • 2 extra days of Wellbeing Leave per year (on top of 4 weeks annual leave)
  • Monthly team meetings focused on learning and connection and regular whole team training days
  • Your own therapy room, laptop and access to huge resources and a therapy assistant team
  • Real support with your caseload, understanding the NDIS, and finding your clinical style
  • Positive, uplifting team culture that\'s inclusive and non-hierarchical
  • Regular team socials, recognition programs, rewards — and people who really want you to succeed
  • DIR Floortime training and ongoing in-house support
  • Clinic Admin and Therapy Assistant teams to support your workflow
  • A vibrant multidisciplinary team and strong peer support
  • Supportive leadership and clear communication
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + staff recognition and Rewards Program
  • Reimbursement for travel and paid travel time, where applicable
  • Remuneration above award and based on experience

At Sensational Kids, we know the first few years of your therapy career are some of the most formative. We want to help make sure yours are empowering, supported and full of growth—not burnout.

So if you\'re looking for your people, your place, and a meaningful start to your career (or help support those doing so) we'd love to meet you. Apply now or reach out for a chat – we're always happy to connect and answer any questions you may have.

These roles are perfect for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thrives in a team, and is ready and willing to learn.
