Project Planning and Budgeting
- Develop detailed project schedules, including milestones and deliverables.
- Manage the budget throughout the construction phase.
- Create procurement plans for materials and subcontractors.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers.
- Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
- Foster collaboration and communication among team members.
Site Management
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Address any construction delays or problems on site promptly.
- Oversee quality control procedures to maintain project standards.
Client Communication
- Maintain open communication with the client, keeping them informed about project status, potential changes, and any challenges.
- Manage client expectations and address concerns effectively.
Contract Management
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
- Monitor contract compliance and manage change orders.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and project logs.
- Prepare regular reports for clients and stakeholders detailing project status and financial performance.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards related to commercial construction, experience with Microsoft Project.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex construction projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex construction issues efficiently.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of project budgeting and financial management principles.
- Full time.
- Contract.
- 7.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- May need to work evenings and weekends to meet project needs.
- Attending meetings outside of regular work hours when required.
- Super 11.5%
- Annual Leave.

- Vehicle Allowance.
- Range $125,000.00 to $180,000.00 + Super dependent on skill set & experience.
- Bonuses apply to this project and are at the discretion of JMT Builders and based on budgets & timelines.
- Any payable bonuses to be within 12 weeks of hand over of project.
- Experience in Commercial Construction.
- Working with steel an advantage.
- Rigging experience an advantage.
- Must be able to work within a close team
- Enthusiastic and a willing attitude a must.
