Our Ferry Rd Service Centre now has an opportunity for anexperienced Workshop Foreman or Master Technician looking to take the next step in their career to lead and manage our Service Workshop.

We are seeking someone who will take ownership and leadership of the workshop ensuring it runs productively and efficiently.

Details about the Role:

  • Providing a high level of customer service to our servicing customers.
  • Understanding our customer's concerns and queries and scheduling their vehicles for work to be completed.
  • Allocating repair orders to appropriate staff to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
  • Ensuring the workshop runs as productive as possible throughout the day as unscheduled work occurs.
  • Working with technicians to troubleshoot problems and provide guidance and solutions on various mechanical issues that arise daily.
  • Quoting and up-selling to customers where necessary.
  • Monitoring workshop performance - repair orders up to date, tech hours allocated etc.
  • Assisting the Service Manager as required.
  • This role is working Monday to Friday and Saturdays as rostered.

Key attributes you will have:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience as a Qualified Technician and/or Master Technician working within a busy dealership workshop
  • Ability to problem solvewith mechanics and to articulate clear and concise solutions
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
