Connect APAC have been exclusively engaged by a Sydney based FMCG Organisation to source a National Account Manager for their Sales team. This organisation is an Australian-owned, full service distribution company that represents some of the world's finest FMCG brands. They pride themselves on having best-in-class relationships with suppliers and retail partners and have a mutual goal to grow their brands in the Australian market. The National Account Manager Foodservice role is responsible for managing the commercial performance and relationships within the Foodservice portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the account base across the diverse channel consisting of; distributors, QSR, Restaurants, Airlines and other Away From Home customers.
  • Execute and develop strategy in line with organisational objectives.
  • Build and maintain high quality relationships with foodservice partners.
  • Manage sales, profit for the foodservice portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities, workshop with customers and grow your portfolio.
  • Work cross functionally with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide up-to-date forecasts for all lines within your portfolio.
  • Manage the NPD & deletion process within your portfolio (communication, timings, commercials)

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of building relationships with key Food Service customers.
  • Strong mix of Account Management and Business Development skills.
  • Driven to work autonomously to build the profitability of the channel.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
