We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Senior Product Owner & Delivery Lead to own, drive, and continuously improve our newly built Freight Management System through full customer rollouts, integrations, feature development, and operational support.
This is not just a coordination role you will be personally responsible for analysing requirements, leading Agile delivery, managing a small team, and continuously solutioning and improving the platform.
You will work directly with company Directors, managing a dynamic product roadmap, leading rollout initiatives, solving complex business problems creatively, and ensuring the platform evolves alongside business needs.
You'll be well-supported by a collaborative leadership team that values initiative, open communication, and continuous improvement giving you the runway to make real impact and grow your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership (Hands-On):
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: from discovery and requirement gathering to testing, release, and post-launch support.
Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and business requirement documents.
Full Rollout & Delivery Management:
Lead phased rollouts and upgrades, ensuring seamless delivery across multiple customers.
Plan rollout strategies, manage dependencies, prepare change management plans, and ensure user readiness.
Agile & Delivery Leadership:
Manage sprints, backlogs, and Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) via JIRA.
Oversee delivery timelines, team workload, and system release plans.
Solution Thinking:
Think creatively to solve business challenges, redesign processes, and drive platform innovation.
Proactively propose solutions when requirements are ambiguous or evolving.
Team Management:
Manage and mentor a small delivery team (Support Analysts, Testers).
Set clear goals, coordinate work allocation, and ensure high delivery standards.
Stakeholder / Client Engagement:
Engage directly with Directors, Business Leaders, and Users to shape priorities and roadmap evolution.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Tech, Operations, and Customer Support.
Identify inefficiencies, propose and implement actionable improvements.
Champion user feedback and advocate for an outstanding user experience.
Operational Ownership:
Manage integrations with third-party systems (APIs, EDIs).
Triage and prioritise bugs, user issues, and system improvements.
Who You Are:
7+ years' experience in Product Ownership, Agile Delivery, Senior Business Analysis, or Platform Management roles.
Proven experience delivering full-cycle system rollouts and leading post-launch support.
Hands-on mindset: Comfortable doing analysis, solutioning, backlog management, and Agile delivery yourself.
Creative problem solver: Able to think outside the box to design solutions that solve complex business challenges.
JIRA expert: Skilled in backlog management, sprint planning, workflow setup, and Agile reporting.
Exceptional communicator: Comfortable engaging with both senior executives and technical teams.
Organised and execution-driven: Able to manage multiple priorities, mitigate risks, and drive initiatives through to completion.
Leadership qualities: Experience managing small to mid-sized delivery or support teams.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
Bonus Points if You Have:
Experience in logistics, freight, supply chain, SaaS, or ERP/FMS system environments.
Understanding of API-based and EDI integrations including proven analysis on working with a technical team to implement
Multi faceted experience i.e. have a background in hands-on Business Analysis and Agile Project Management
