About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cocktail/Coffee and Bar Supervisor to join our team at Tannins wine bar in Hervey Bay, Queensland. As a part-time role(34+hrs) this position will see you overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bar and coffee service, ensuring our customers receive an exceptional hospitality experience.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and training bar and coffee staff to deliver high-quality service and beverages

Managing inventory, stock control and ordering for the bar and coffee service

Ensuring compliance with all relevant licensing, food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer queries and complaints

The preparation and serving of cocktails, coffee and other beverages

Supporting the overall operations of the wine bar as required whilst working closely with the Chef owner

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a supervisory or management role within the bar, cafe or hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, cocktail mixing and other bar operations

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
