Shutterfly, Inc., is on the hunt for a dynamic and visionary Regional Director to lead the Snapfish brand in the Australia & New Zealand. We seek a trailblazer with a robust background in eCommerce, performance marketing, P&L management, and team leadership. This role demands a strategic powerhouse who thrives on driving change and business performance, constantly seeking innovative ways to propel the business forward. This is a unique opportunity for a bold and seasoned leader to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving company and industry ripe for transformation.
The Regional Director will report to the VP, General Manager of Snapfish Global.
Key Responsibilities
- P&L Management:Take full ownership of the P&L for the region, ensuring financial targets are not just met but exceeded through relentless performance management and optimization. Drive ongoing forecasting to reflect the latest outlooks.
- Performance Marketing:Own the strategy and budget across performance marketing channels (SEM, SEO, Display/Online Media, Affiliates, Paid Social, Mobile App digital marketing) to achieve the company's business objectives and drive customer acquisition. Collaborate closely with agency partners and internal teams to deliver outstanding results.
- eCommerce Strategy:Own the optimization of our e-commerce site and app. Utilize data and insights to drive strategic growth and elevate our customers' shopping experience. Develop and execute a prioritized testing roadmap to maximize conversion rates.
- Merchandising:Innovate and drive the merchandising strategy, including the introduction of new products and the optimization of existing ones across all categories. Own the pricing and promotional calendar, ensuring continuous optimization.
- Competitive Analysis:Conduct comprehensive and ongoing analysis of the competitive landscape across marketing and merchandising to identify trends, threats, and opportunities, guiding both immediate actions and long-term strategy.
- Leadership and Management:Inspire and lead the Australia & New Zealand team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Data Analysis:Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize business performance. Provide regular business reporting to uncover actionable insights based on in-season performance.
- Testing Culture:Champion a culture of experimentation, innovation, and a test-and-learn mindset across marketing, eCommerce, and merchandising. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and optimization.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit:Possess a strong entrepreneurial drive, constantly seeking innovative solutions and growth opportunities. Passionate about building and scaling successful businesses, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

- Experience:8+ years of experience in eCommerce, performance marketing, and P&L management.
- Ecommerce Expertise:Proven subject matter expert in the eCommerce space, with a broad understanding of digital commerce, CX, merchandising, marketing, and site operations.
- Business & Marketing Expertise:Proven experience with the digital marketing channels listed above. Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and financial acumen.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
- Analytical Tools:Expertise in using platforms like Adobe Analytics, AB testing platforms, and BI solutions such as Power BI.
- Openness to working flexible hours (leadership based in the United States)
