Overview

As a Personal Carer at Wahroonga Aged Care in Biloela, you'll be looking after the personal, social and daily needs of our older residents. You are part of a bigger team who all work together and love brightening the days of others. We empower residents to be as independent as possible and help them enjoy the things that interest them. We're looking for carers to make a real difference and pitch in and help however you can.

Responsibilities

  • Look after the personal, social and daily needs of residents.
  • Support residents to maintain independence and engage in activities they enjoy.
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver quality, respectful, person-centred care.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive and welcoming environment for residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aged care is a plus, or you may be new to support work.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support is preferred but not required; the right attitude and passion for helping others are essential.
