About the Role
Reporting to our Managing Director, the Interim CIO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology delivery, systems, data, security, and people development. You'll lead our IT function through a period of change, modernisation, and integration, ensuring strong alignment with global business objectives.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role so be prepared to drive the vision while also rolling up your sleeves to ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead through transformation and change
Steer the IT function through a major transformation, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and long-term strategy. - Collaborate with global IT team
Act as the primary liaison with the UK team to align platforms, integration, and data strategies across the group. - Oversee core IT functions
Full accountability for IT operations, enterprise systems, infrastructure, data integrity, and cyber security. - Deliver complex and challenging projects
Plan and execute high-impact technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value. - Drive digital transformation
Identify and implement opportunities for technology modernisation, automation, and innovation to support business growth. - Lead and develop people
Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams through periods of uncertainty and change, while mentoring and building internal capability. - Ensure data governance and security
Maintain the integrity, security, and compliance of all data systems in accordance with group-wide policies and local regulations. - Develop IT strategy and roadmap
Shape and execute a forward-looking technology roadmap that supports the strategic direction of the business.
- Senior IT or Technology executive with strong integration and transformation experience.
- Proven success leading enterprise systems, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
- Able to operate strategically while maintaining hands-on delivery capability.
- Highly skilled in managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- A confident and empathetic leader and communicator.
- Passionate about developing and mentoring teams, with a track record of building capability during times of change.
