The Role

This large QLD State Government Department is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide a wide range of administrative support to the Business Support Team. Your duties will include:

  • Creation and management of work orders.
  • Data entry and data analysis.
  • Office maintenance and fleet management support.
  • Compile documents and reports; update records and systems using Excel and other information systems.
  • Inbox management - responding to clients and contractors regarding their requests and enquiries.
  • General administration support as required.
You

The successful candidates will have strong administration skills and work order experience. You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with recurring tasks
  • Strong time management skills
  • Prior experience in government, construction, service maintenance or facilities is highly regarded
