Occupational Therapist – Paediatric | New Grads Welcome | No Weekends | Up to 10 Weeks Paid Leave

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 + 12% super + up to 10 weeks paid leave

Employment Type: Full-time or part-time

Start Date: Negotiable

Work Monday to Friday only, with up to 10 weeks of paid leave annually.

About Bright FACES

Bright FACES is a purpose-driven paediatric clinic located in Melton, VIC. We support neurodiverse children and their families through evidence-based, compassionate care. Our team includes Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, (and seeking Speech Pathologists) working together in a genuinely collaborative environment.

We're now looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about child development and family-centred practice. Whether you're a recent graduate or have years of experience, you'll be welcomed into a workplace that prioritises your wellbeing and career satisfaction.

What We Offer

  • Salary $80,000–$105,000 (commensurate with experience) + 12% superannuation
  • Up to 10 weeks paid leave each year (including 4 weeks annual leave and up to 6 additional weeks during school holidays)
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm – no weekend or after-hours work
  • Full administrative support for scheduling, billing, and communications
  • Laptop and iPad provided
  • CPD allowance and regular supervision (internal & external)
  • Dedicated new graduate support, including weekly supervision and structured induction

About the Role

You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based OT services to children and their families, with flexibility to shape your caseload around your interests and strengths. The role includes a mix of assessment, therapy, and collaboration with other allied health professionals.

You'll work with children experiencing Autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, emotional regulation needs, and fine/gross motor delays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting OT assessments and therapy
  • Coaching and supporting parents to extend therapy goals at home / school
  • Contributing to small group programmes (e.g., social skills, school readiness)
  • Collaborating with the allied health team for integrated client care
  • Participating in regular team meetings, supervision, and professional development
  • Supporting early-career colleagues if desired (optional)

About You

You're an empathetic, motivated clinician who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while maintaining autonomy over your work. You're passionate about helping children thrive and want to be part of a team that shares those values.

To be successful, you will have:

  • A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility for new grads)
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • Australian working rights
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in working with neurodiverse children
