The role

A leading packaging manufacturer in Narangba is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their operations team. This permanent full-time role will see you supervising the night shift team and driving performance, safety, and quality across the line.

A leading packaging manufacturer in Narangba is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their operations team. This permanent full-time role will see you supervising the night shift team and driving performance, safety, and quality across the line.

You will commence on day shift for initial training and handover, before transitioning into a night shift leadership role. You'll be responsible for overseeing production activities, supporting your team, and ensuring efficient packaging processes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the night shift production team (11 PM - 7 AM, Monday to Friday)
  • Ensure production goals, safety standards, and quality controls are consistently met
  • Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate workflow and ensure timely handovers across shifts
  • Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to WHS standards
  • Maintain accurate shift records and reporting

The Candidate
  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally within the packaging industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure
  • Sound understanding of WHS and quality systems
  • Available to train during the day shift before commencing night shift
