About The Role

As a Production Supervisor at Fresh To Go Foods, you'll be an integral part of our team, dedicated to crafting high-quality, ready-made wraps and sandwiches. This is a full-time position that offers a stable and friendly work environment. You will join a team that values precision, speed, and quality in food production. Our team is passionate about exceeding convenience food standards, ensuring every hand-made meal is created to perfection.

What you'll do
  • Assign production staff locations during production
  • Ensure staff comply with dress code
  • Adhere to FTG procedures, specifications, and policies
  • Communicate effectively with staff
  • Meet customer deadlines and specifications, notify of exceptions
  • Ensure products follow recipes/specifications
  • Store ingredients and packaging properly
  • Verify labels are correct and up to date
  • Perform daily GMP quality checks
  • Set up and sanitize lines
  • Maintain cleanliness of factory and office
  • Clean belts and floors, put away food, remove rubbish regularly and before breaks
  • Some heavy lifting required
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to give clear instructions
  • Food processing experience, machine operation, knife skills
  • Comfort working in cold environments
  • Initiative and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, HACCP
  • Understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to develop and complete improvement projects
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
