Senior AI Business Analyst

Term: Contract until 31st December 2025 with possible extension
Daily rate: Up to $950 per day (including super)
Location: Melbourne | Sydney | Brisbane
Hybrid: Working: 2-3 days in office

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior AI Business Analyst for an AI transformation program. This contract position involves working with artificial intelligence technologies and applying your business analysis skills.

Join a small passionate, and collaborative team working closely with AI technical and business teams to analyse processes, identify opportunities, and support AI solution adoption.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Participate in AI adoption initiatives and identify opportunities across business teams
  • Analyse business workflows to find areas suitable for AI enhancement and address cross-functional challenges
  • Run pilot projects and experiments to test AI use cases
  • Work with stakeholders to optimise processes and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Manage project deliverables while building stakeholder relationships
  • Conduct impact assessments and develop implementation plans
  • Create and deliver training programs on AI tools and processes
  • Document processes, track benefits, and support adoption across teams
  • Collaborate with AI specialists, data scientists, and stakeholders
  • Stay current with AI trends and provide input on AI capabilities and business applications
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis in large technical projects/programs
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of AI concepts
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative metrics into business benefits/ROI
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, process development, research, and analytics skills
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments
  • Track record of delivering multiple complex initiatives with measurable business impact
  • 5+ years of experience in AI transformation, business analysis, or related fields (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Workday, marketing automation, and conversational AI technologies (preferred)
