About the Role
It's an exciting time to join EVT as we continue to evolve how data and insights shape strategy and unlock business growth. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support the delivery of data solutions that drive business performance. You'll work closely with senior BI developers and business stakeholders to support both project-based initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their BI career who is passionate about learning, growing, and contributing to a data-informed culture in a dynamic and vibrant industry.
We're looking for someone who is a strong communicator with a growth mindset, commercially astute, and confident in transforming complex datasets into simple, powerful insights that influence senior stakeholders and help shape EVT's strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior BI developers in the delivery of end-to-end data projects and reports using SQL and Power BI.
- Provide BAU support for existing BI reports and data models.
- Assist with ad hoc data requests and stakeholder support.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Maintain documentation and develop solutions using reproducible and maintainable approaches.
- Support report adoption by delivering user training and proactively identifying challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data governance, data quality, and process improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, working with customer and commercial data to generate actionable insights and measurable impact.
- Experience developing advanced Power BI reports and SQL scripts.
- Strong commercial acumen, business judgment and experience with commercial storytelling.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
