Job Description:

As a system engineer, you will play a pivotal role in AGV projects, overseeing everything from initial system specifications to the final delivery and implementation of AGV systems for customers.

  • Ensure quality and system processes are followed within assigned projects
  • Prepare technical specifications and designs for AGV functionality
  • Develop system design and programming of AGV systems.
  • Assist with testing, integration, and factory testing of AGV systems
  • Support installation specifications and commissioning of AGVs on-site
  • Test and integrate AGV and PLC systems
  • Manage project costs and schedules, and participate in training operators
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the AGV project delivery process
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning
  • Programming skills in PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C, or C++
  • Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and trouble-shooting
  • Electrical design experience using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages
  • Experience with automation or materials handling is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with a hunger to learn and grow
