A rare and exciting opportunity for a junior lawyer to move in-house to an ASX listed business in Melbourne. This role is perfect for a 1–3 PQE Australian-qualified lawyer seeking hands-on experience across corporate law, commercial contracts, governance, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

About the Role

In this broad and varied in-house position, you'll work closely with the General Counsel and Company Secretary to support all legal and governance matters across the business. You'll be involved in a range of responsibilities, including commercial contract negotiation, corporate compliance, M&A support, board reporting, and regulatory filings.

This is an outstanding opportunity to make an impact in a collaborative team, with exposure to senior stakeholders across a growing international organisation.

About You

  • 1–3 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm (in-house experience also valued)
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and commercial mindset
