They are looking to hire someone at the 3-5 PQE level, to be based in their Melbourne office.
We're seeking a proactive and motivated corporate lawyer to support a dynamic and growing legal team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of transactional and regulated legal matters in a company that is assisting with the energy transition.
The General Counsel is a leader in the space and is brilliant to deal with.

You will become part of a high-performing, supportive and innovative team and be able to contribute to an exciting, fast-paced industry.
About the Role Lead and support the negotiation, drafting and review of a wide range of commercial contracts such as PPAs, EPC and O&M agreements, connection and grid access agreements, corporate and project finance documents plus much more.
Provide support and managing external counsel.
Maintain the business risk register and map key risk areas.
Review marketing materials and product disclosures for legal compliance.
Assist with company secretarial duties, including board documentation and record-keeping.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and business development projects.
What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
Practising as a corporate lawyer for 3-5 years in private practice or in-house.
Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Thrives in dynamic and evolving environments.
