About the opportunity
The WHS Compliance Coordinator reports to the Group Vendor Compliance Manager and locally to the State WHS Manager and is part of the wider People, Safety and Culture Team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to facilitate subcontractor compliance across the Wilson Homes portfolio. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Onboard and support new and existing vendors on their compliance obligations (over the phone and in person)
  • Review all vendor documentation to ensure it meets NEX Group internal system requirements
  • Liaise with new and existing trades, contractors and vendors to ensure ongoing site safety compliance (occasionally visiting our construction sites to support this process)
  • Achieve improvements in compliance rates for all subcontractors and vendors
  • Maintenance of vendor documentation and vendor database systems
  • Maintenance of WHS business compliance records and databases
  • Provide accurate and timely administrative support to the State Safety Manager and compliance team as required
  • Collaborate cross functionally to implement improvements to the vendor experience and issue resolution process

About you

  • The ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing work agenda
  • Proficiency in or willingness to develop skills in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Willingness to attend Wilson Homes building sites to support the onboarding process
