The Role

As a Theatre Technician at Epworth Eastern, you will join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety first.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
  • Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
  • Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Certificate III Theatre Technician qualification
  • Minimum 12 months clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre
  • A clear understanding and use of medical terminology
  • An understanding of, and ability to set-up medical devices/theatres
  • Flexible working arrangements to best match your work/life balance committed to a rotating roster (mix of AM, PM, twilight and Saturday shifts)
About Epworth Eastern

Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility with 14 theatres and expansion of ICU to 12 beds.

We offer a range of services including cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic, and general surgery to oncology, urology, and endoscopy services.

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians is AUD $57,744 - $70,910 + super + entitlements dependent on year level.
