Job RequirementsWe seek a Theatre Technician to join our team on a casual, part-time or full-time basis at Epworth Eastern.
This role requires delivering high-quality service, patient care, handling equipment, and transportation services while contributing to the operating suite's overall performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clinicians with patient preparation
- Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
- Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A Certificate III Theatre Technician qualification
- At least 12 months of clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre
- A clear understanding and use of medical terminology
- Knowledge of setting up medical devices and theatres
- Flexible working arrangements to balance your work and life commitments, including a rotating roster
