About the role

We are looking to appoint an experienced Science Teacher whose specialisation is Biology. This role will see the successful candidate join the Walford team in a permanent, capacity (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) from the commencement of 2026.

Working collaboratively with the Head of Science, this teacher will deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum, turning the classroom into a space where curiosity fuels discovery.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrated experience and excellence in teaching Biology, with the ability to teach Physics or Chemistry desirable.

Highly skilled in differentiating, ensuring that each Walford student is given the opportunity to achieve her best, her way.

A readiness to join and contribute to a passionate team of education professionals.

A willingness to support the School's values and Anglican ethos.

South Australian Teacher Registration.

Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care (Fundamentals and Masterclass).

First Aid Certificate.
