For over two decades, Sportsnet has formulated successful partnerships with some of the largest and most prolific sporting event stakeholders to support our mission: to make it as easy as possible for sports fans to attend their favourite sporting events, no matter where in the world.

In addition to the Sportsnet Holidays brand, you will be involved from the get-go in our white label partnerships with Supercars & the Sydney Mardi Gras Festival, under our Supercars Travel & Sydney Mardi Gras Packages brands.

A hybrid model is offered to combine working onsite and from home. Candidate must be located in Melbourne to fulfil the requirements of a hybrid work model.

About the role:

The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of creative assets across print and digital platforms for Sportsnet Holidays, Supercars Travel & Sydney Mardi Gras Packages. Working closely with the wider marketing team, the role ensures visual communications align with brand guidelines and objectives, contribute to commercial goals and engage our target audience across various campaigns and touchpoints.

The Junior Graphic Designer will also be required to support other departments, including Operations, Sales & Executive, with design requirements as and when necessary.

This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic creative looking to grow their design skills in a dynamic, fast-paced team that works across travel, events, and sport.

A successful Junior Graphic Designer will possess:

  • A collaborative and team-focused mindset

Main responsibilities include:

  • Play a crucial role in the creation of digital marketing materials, with a key initial focus on organic & paid social statics/videos, EDMs, website elements & display advertising
  • Create & maintain a suite of internal documentation & staff-required assets
  • Assist with the development of print media materials & on-ground event assets
  • Maintain and organise digital asset libraries, including logos, photography, templates, and completed artwork
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver creative concepts that meet campaign objectives and brand guidelines
  • Ensure all visual communications adhere to Sportsnet Holidays', Supercars Travel's & Sydney Mardi Gras Packages' brand guidelines, or those of associated partner brands, and maintain a high standard of quality and consistency
  • Assist in the evolution and development of brand assets under guidance from the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager

Applicants must have:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a design or marketing team (internships or freelance considered)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Animation and video editing skills with experience using Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar applications
  • A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design fundamentals, typography, layout, and attention to detail
  • Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field preferred
