Our Melbourne-based team is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Digital Account Manager (SEO & Google Ads) to act as a trusted client partner — building strong relationships, translating campaign data into business insights, and coordinating with our in-house specialists to deliver outstanding results. This role is focused on strategy and client success rather than hands-on technical execution.

Please note: This position is office-based in Abbotsford — we've built a supportive, team-driven environment that thrives on in-person collaboration.

The Role

As a Digital Account Manager, you'll be the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing their SEO and Google Ads campaigns while identifying opportunities for growth. This role blends strategic account management with business development, making it perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships and driving results.

You'll be supported by in-house SEO and PPC specialists, giving you the tools and resources to deliver client success.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management (60%)

  • Build strong client relationships as their trusted digital marketing partner.
  • Oversee campaign performance and collaborate with SEO/PPC specialists to achieve measurable outcomes (rankings, conversions, ROI).
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports (Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, etc.). translating data into clear business insights.
  • Manage client inquiries with professionalism across a diverse client base.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and aligned with client goals.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client services (SEO retainers, increased ad spend, local SEO, re-marketing, etc.).
  • Create tailored proposals and pitch solutions aligned to client objectives.
  • Drive client retention and agency revenue through proactive account growth.
  • Follow up on qualified new leads provided by the agency, building relationships and converting them into clients.

Administrative & Support (10%)

  • Use CRM and project management tools to maintain accurate client records and streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to team meetings, share insights, and stay updated on industry trends.
What We're Looking For
  • 1–3 years' experience in digital marketing (junior candidates encouraged to apply if motivated and eager to succeed).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Ads fundamentals (keyword research, campaign optimisation, reporting).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to engage confidently with diverse clients.
  • Comfortable with digital tools such as Ahrefs, GA4, or eager to learn.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and driven to spot growth opportunities.
  • Collaborative, but capable of working independently.
