About The Service – Housing & Homelessness Services A safe home is a base for building a better life. We support people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, and provide specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.
About The JobCumberland House is a 12-bed women's only crisis accommodation based in the West End of Newcastle. We are looking for a female night support worker to join our small but friendly team, delivering high-quality, compassionate support to the women who live here.
You will work on a rolling rota: 3 nights on, 3 nights off. Weekday shifts are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am; weekend shifts are from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS ROLE, FEMALE APPLICANTS NEED ONLY APPLY.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, compassionate support to residents at Cumberland House during night shifts.
- Experience or interest in housing/homelessness services is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work 3 nights on, 3 nights off on a rolling rota; ability to work night shifts.
- Committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for residents.
